Based on suggestions from Dorothea Salo and others, I used the LetterHead template by Robin Hastings and made a few tweaks (mostly changing typefaces and, in some cases, type size). I wanted spare, elegant and readable; LetterHead got me 95% of the way there–and, as with most WordPress templates, it yields superbly clean printouts.
